At least 100 people pass through Las Canas daily to buy and consume drugs, with overdoses as frequent as 20 a day.
Jodie Bieber's images capture the sadness and loss of these ordinary people. Some of the images can make your stomach squirm while others depict a beautiful sadness coming from deep within.
The arid landscape and the simplistic nature of the subjects makes for a raw and emotional end result and when seen in a gallery some of the images will truly leave you speechless.
